Taller bumpers for ramp door
 

Does anyone have a recommendation for 6-8 inch tall rear ramp door bumpers? 39' GR gooseneck. The transition from trailer to door is too steep as it does not have a dovetail.
The originals are captured by an aluminum, square trim ring that is pop riveted to the door.

I have an old Classic trailer.

It uses some rectangular square tubing under the bumpers to raise the door up for the fold down ramps.

either fabricate something that will work OR look into getting some loading dock bumpers or too into a semi trailer supply company--it seems they use something like that to cushion the trailer from slamming into the loading docks--

I used loading dock bumpers purchased from McMaster - Carr on our Gold Rush and Intech trailers. You might have to do some adapting.
