Re: Dave Stine Memorial 8.90 Race - May 22nd - $10k to win
Ok, so my phone has been blowing up since the announcement yesterday so I’ll answer some of the questions:
Can we double enter: Yes, you can double enter in other classes as long as your car meets the requirements, you cannot double enter in Super Comp. One Driver, One Car. Just be aware that those who have run a MASCA race before as we get into later rounds, it moves fast. How will pairings go: Random pairings for first round, we’re actually going to random pairs all the way across this year with the series. 2nd round will be placed on a ladder. With no real help (I was lucky to have Don Bangs last year but, he’ll be back in the seat this year) we need to speed up the program and honesty the car counts I expect at this event, I’m not pairing 100 cars, sorry. Race on Sunday?: Yes there will be a race on Sunday, a little less of a payout but, $80 entry / $30 at gate for 50 cars will be $1,700 to win. If weather becomes a factor on Saturday, we will move it to Sunday. Entry for the $10,000: $130 entry fee, you will pay $30 at the gate for driver and $15 for crew per day and then find me to pay the $100 entry fee for Saturday’s event. Do you have to be a member: No you don’t have to be a member to race with us. As much as I would love for everyone to become a member of the series I understand that some of you have other priorities. Those of you wishing to sign up for points, I’d appreciate you doing this before the first race to help me out since it’s already a crazy time at the first race and now I just added extra work. Classes that will be run that weekend: Top Sportsman, Top Dragster, Super Comp, Super Gas, Super Street. I’m trying to work on a little better payouts for the other classes so hold tight. Any other questions feel free to drop them in the comments: |

Re: Dave Stine Memorial 8.90 Race - May 22nd - $10k to win
A few people have been asking about the payouts for the Dave Stine Memorial Race in all classes on May 22nd. So I sat down and worked on some figures. I would assume that there will be splits with SC when we get to the later rounds, semis or finals. Whatever is decided between the racers will be handled by the racers for the split. I will give you a total and you guys go from there. If you don't want to split, that is totally up to you.
Also forgot but, we will also be doing the $10 Calcutta that whole weekend, so for $10 and the amount of cars expected this could be a nice added bonus. All .90 Classes are $100 entry paid to Rob and $30 at the gate Super Comp: Based on 50 Cars: Win: $10K RUP: $1,500 Semi's - $500 4th - $225 3rd: - $125 Based on 75 Cars: Win: $10K RUP: $2,000 Semi's - $800 5th - $500 4th: $225 3rd: $150 Based on 100 Cars: Win: $10K RUP: $2,500 Semi's - $850 5th - $500 4th: $250 3rd: $150 Based on 128 Cars: Win: $10K RUP: $3,000 Semi's - $900 5th - $500 4th: $250 3rd: $150 Based on 150 Cars: Win: $10K RUP: $3,250 Semi's - $1,000 6th - $600 5th - $350 4th: $250 3rd: $150 Super Gas & Super Street will be the same except for the bonus is for Super Gas only as of right now but, any Super Street guys want to pitch in to help: 32 Cars Winner: $1600.00 + $1,000 bonus from P&L Garage Runner-Up: $675.00 Semi’s (2): $200.00 Quarters (4): $100.00 40 Cars Winner: $2,000.00 + $1,000 bonus from P&L Garage Runner-Up: $750.00 Semi’s (1): $275.00 Quarters (2): $175.00 3rd Round (5): $100.00 50 Cars Winner: $2500.00 + $1,000 bonus from P&L Garage Runner-Up: $1000.00 Semi’s (2): $215.00 Quarters (3): $150.00 3rd Round (6): $100.00 Top Dragster & Sportsman Payouts based on $150 entry for 2021 all entry will be paid at the gate: 16 Cars: Winner: $1,300 R-Up - $550 Semi - $175 20 Cars: Winner: $1,500 RUP: $700 Semis - $325 3rd - $100 30 Cars: Winner: $2,000 RUP - $1,000 Semis - $300 3rd - $125 40 Cars: Winner: $3,000 RUP - $1150 Semis - $500 4th - $175 3rd - $100 48 Cars: Winner: $3,400 RUP- $ 1,300 Semi - $575 4th - $225 3rd - $100 |
