It’s a tune that resonates for sure. Written by Leonard Cohen it’s had many different lyrics set to it. Cohen’s performance of it in London toward the end of his life is quite good (as is Bon Jovi’s) and displays his humanity and brokenness but ultimately it ends as Hallelujah. The song became more mainstream when it appeared on a NCIS episode a couple of years ago. You can search on YouTube to see different versions but I’m including another here, mainly because I’ve been reminded that every day is Easter.
