On line license renewal
Question: do you have to mail it in? I can't find how to send it via the computer....now that physicals are not required, I thought I could do it on line. Maybe instead of a physical, they should consider being computer literate! !!! Thanks

Re: On line license renewal
Because of the legal stuff they still require a full signature. Drag racing can be dangerous. If they are going to give you a license they want your sig on the release form.
In order to register for an event on-line you need to register your signature with them. That requires having a form notarized and mailed to them first. That could be expanded to the license procedure, too. Dale |
Re: On line license renewal
I agree, I just renewed and was unsure of the procedure between synchronizing with membership expirations and the fact that I was adding a second category so I called to ask questions.
They indicated that I did need to send in a signed paper form. |
Re: On line license renewal
You pretty much have to call your Divisional office to get an exact amount to send in since they are making your membership date and license renewal dates align now. Cody in the D2 office promptly returned my call and quickly gave me the amount to write the check for (gulp).

Re: On line license renewal
I guess I'm still confused about this whole thing. My car does not run 9.99 so I have never had to have a comp drivers license. Am I understanding correctly that I have to have one now. If that's the case, didn't a bunch of us just get burned by NHRA again?

EDIT: No one is being forced to get a license for weekend racing unless they run a fast car. The only people checking these are going to be the NHRA officials at the points events. Dale |
