Hoosier 18211

What is everyone that was using the Hoosier 18211, that is now obsolete, using for a replacement?

I guess it depends on what you're more married to; the compound, or the height.

If you need a 94" circumference, then the lightweight 18212.

If you really like the C07 compound, then the 18210.

I've run dozens of sets of 18210. One year I ran the 18211 and couldn't notice a difference.

OK so what's the compound on 18212, what's the circumference on 18210 and what were the #'s on 18211, been awhile CRS

18212 compound is CO6 everything else except weight, is exactly the same as the obsolete 18211 (CO7 compound). My issue with the 18212 is the weight is removed from the sidewall, and I like the stronger sidewall of the 18211. the 18210 circumference is 92.5" the circumference of the 18211 is 94". I have run the 18211 for many many years and have the car gearing set up for that 94" circumference... I guess all things considered I will go with the 18212. I just thought maybe someone has found another manufacture with a radial slick that has all the same measurements as the Hoosier 18211..

By the math, the 92.5" tire would be turning 7110 RPM where the 94" tire would be turning 7000. Not a tremendous difference.

With that said, there are a lot of people who are happy with the 18212.
