As impressive as those Pro Stock cars were, since this thread is titled "Top 10 Significant S/SS cars, I would replace the P/S cars with; Jere Stahls Hemi Plymouth,
Jim Van Cleves 427 Fairlane (my Ford & Div. 6 bias showing?), John Calverts 68 428 Mustang (a winner in Stock and S/S), Kevin Helms 69 Camaro, and since I believe Ralph Ridgeways 55 Chevy was actually a Modified Production car, I switch it for.........Ben Wenzels one owner Z/28 Camaro |
