leaky heads studs/nuts
couple slightly seeping @ the nut. any remedies?... please/thankyou.

We always used the GM brown sealer in the can with the applicator attached to the cap....
It looked like Permatex Aviation Form-A-Gasket only thicker..... Nasty stuff but it worked great on studs and bolts.......... Bob PS: Don't forget to add a good block sealer such as Moroso Ceramic Block Sealer or K & W Metallic Block Sealer |

Always found that on studs it helps to actually put some of the sealer in the threaded hole first. Not sure why it works, never do it with bolts ? If you are fixing it without pulling the head, pull the stud completely out, get some sealer down in the hole with a screwdriver or something and then thread the stud back in. |
