Help find the history of this 64 Savoy Lightweight

Looking for missing history on this 1964 Savoy Stage III lightweight. The car campaigned in Texas possibly under the name Aggravation and was owned by a guy name Roland from Pasadena, TX. It has just over 1,500 miles on the odometer so it has had MANY passes on the car. It may have migrated from San Antonio as it was delivered new to Jack Rieger Chrysler Plymouth. Please SHARE THESE PHOTOS with your drag racing friends so we can potentially unravel it's history. The NHRA number was 4945

I have no information on the classes it may have ran.

Note: Pinstriping in Red & Blue on the doors, C Pillar, trunk and above the doors.

I can't help on your car. I bought a 1964 Plymouth that once was owned by Joe Ralph Thompson out of Arkansas. I was told by the people familiar with the car that the aluminum nose was made illegal for a while, so mine was converted into an AWB with the 1965 fiberglass nose, front bumper, doors and lightweight windows. That was done in early 1966. It might have run Stock or SS for a few years, then changed classes. My car ran in B/A, the sister car without the AWB ran in B/G. both with Hemis.

Big Joe Teuton might know the car. Joe Smith might also be a good source.

Joe doesn't remember the car. I also spoke with JD Feigelson who ran a 64 Hemi out of Beaumont. Not his car either. Having been around Pasadena I would assume it ran Houston International, Golden Triangle & Eastex. It was a divison 4 car.

Bring this over to the Nostalgia forum.
Lots of old regulars there.

The whole nostalgia forum began because of a search for the roots of a LO23 Hemi Dart.

Still chasing that one.

Hopefully we can have better luck with your's!
