Fox Body Mustang Stocker Rear Suspension Question

I am curious what other fox body mustang stocker racers have done to improve the rear suspension geometry/instant center? There are a few bolt-on devices that will work work within the rules, but I have also seen some guys make these cars leave hard with all of the factory control arm pickup points as well. Just curious what input or suggestions you all may have?

Thanks in advance for any isight!

Dick Miller has a pretty nice set up for the Fox bodies. He has a book out that is called "Hook and Launch. And the book is on EBay or at Barnes and Noble .We use his stuff and are happy with it.

global west lower arms, adjustable uppers, spherical bearings and a set of battle box reinforcements worked good on mine. 1.60-1.63 60 fts.

Re: Fox Body Mustang Stocker Rear Suspension Question

Be careful of spherical rod ends when using the stock the stock mounting points on the Fox body. They tend to have side to side movement when using rod ends on the four bars. Miller has a bolt on cure for this. Again, it worked well for us.

Thanks for all of the feedback guys! I have a lot of experience with the fox stuff in street/strip trim, but not with the options that will fit the Stock Eliminator rules. I know the Team Z and the Baseline pieces are pretty similar. Any opinions or things to consider either way between those two?

Regardless of what you do, the rear upper and lower control arm mounts are weak. When you start getting the car to hook, those two points can ruin a car if damaged. Make sure they are reinforced.

This is how my friend did his upper control arm mounts. You can see where one of his roll bar tubes comes into the mount as well. Very sturdy.
