Fastest 340 Mopars stockers in the country ?
 

Just curious as to has the fastest 340's out there, low and hi-comp.. Thanks for any examples.

Dusty and Scott Lowell F/SA 72 is fast
I guess this needs to be by class for this post to make sense

I would say Brad Van Lant and James Findell would be up near the top. gsa 612

x2 Plus, the orange '72 Duster from Texas is very fast as well.

Mark Lelchook (Performance Welding)...I haven't looked at Nitro Joe's statistics but dare say Mark's is fastest...and it has much of Brad's magic touch.

Gotta agree! Lelchook's big mph in E/SA (Van Lant motor)! Van Lant is the man right now for sure! Great guy also. Jim

BTW Findell's got Van Lant power also!

When did he go 127 in E? That's like 10.30s mph at least.

Gene Bueul (spelling?) had the C/SA record in the high 10.30's with a 1970 340 6-pack Challenger T/A a few years ago. I'm sure it got hit with HP afterwards and I can't recall the last time I saw it on a qualifying sheet.

I had just spoken to Mark before you posted this. Your right Andrew, it wasn't 127. It was at Topeka and I promised I wouldn't say how fast it really was. Sorry. Jim

Van lant and all the Findells cars hands down. Same place same day no question.
