NHRA S/G and SST tech questions
 
Blanket required or not?
Full Face Helmet required or not?
Parachute Required or not?
What about SFI dated items? How long are they good?
I guess I need a rule book but don't ave one handy.

Blanket yes SG not sure SST
Full Face Helment yes in both
Parachute yes if speed over 150
Belts 2 yrs

SST full face only require if faster then 135mph

When I said blanket I meant Diaper under the oilpan???
I was told S/G did'nt need fullface unless over 150. Am I wrong?

Chip- If you go faster than 135 S/G rules apply in NHRA. Hope this helps

SG Has to have a diaper regardless of speed.
SG Has to have a full face helment regardless of speed , door car ,or roadster

You might want to check with tracks you will race at some of them have put diaper rules inplace for 2009
