Can anyone tell me how much a metric trans weights?????

According to what I found, 96lbs, 1 lb less than an aluminum powerglide. This from the drw transmission website. Hope that helps.

My Sepanek metric 200 with gun-drilled shafts weighed 94 lbs., converter weighed 18 lbs.

Mark, very true. The weather here has been so cold I leave the Klondke bars in the car over night, have a case and no room in the freezer. Suppose to be -3 on Thursday, tell me how cold it is by you, NOT!

Ours weights 123 lbs. with 8" converter with fluid in it! This is a Jpt style our 10:63 tranny.
