Congrats to the Berg brothers (Paul, Mark and Phil) and the entire Berg family. A well deserved win for class act family.

Also congrats to Scott (reigning Gatornationals champion) Helms. Now to come up with some nice words about Scott........'nuf said. :D

Thanks everybody! Thanks again to Jim Woods, Jim Wahl, Tina Summerton, Tom Ward, Connie, Hammer, Sean Ward, Sean Hanning, Tommy Ward for your labor in making the SSSSA such a great place to race. Congratulations to our buddy Scott Helms, who I'm sure is leading the points after making it to the semis in the first race and runner up Sunday afternoon. Joe - your rowdy pit neighbors from this weekend really appreciate the kind words ;)

I would also like to thank Paul's wife Harriet and his son Robert for their help this weekend! We hope to see you all at SGMP next month.

Thanks Charlie! Work schedule has been very hectic, so I couldn't get any seat time in before Lakeland. Since that was the case, we decided that Paul should drive this weekend. If I can get sufficient seat time in before the SSSSA race in Georgia next month, I will drive there.

How are you and your dad doing? When is your next race?

Thank you, guys, for all your support and encouragement. I feel very fortunate today to have friends such as you. I also feel fortunate to have had an opportunity for a second drag racing career. The racing was so much fun, and I enjoyed it so much. Thanks especially also to those who lined the return road after my final winning run, and to my excellent competitor, and reigning Gatornationals champion, Scott Helms. Thanks also to all the SSSSA folks for all the work you do to put the fun back into drag racing.
