Combo races@ Lake Cumberland ?
 

Guy from Lake Cumberland Dragway was in shop I asked if he would be interested in
having some combos there. He was interested and wanted ideal of how many cars would
come, so I said I would see what I could find out. They are starting renovations next week
new concrete I believe 330' and resurface rest of track and 4' concrete walls,so track
should be in good shape.
The wanna be pro mods quick 8 are wanting race there but he doesn't like their attitude
they want him to payout 2500.00 and let them and crew in free.I told him we would pay
our way in and bring more cars than they would with right promotion I think we could draw
more spectators than quick 8.
Dates will have to be researched if have enough interest maybe if this works out could
maybe work with Bowling Green & Ohio Valley and have a Ky based combo series?
Maybe even Mt. Park ,London ,Owensville and maybe add K Valley, WV Tri State Hamilton Oh. and Edgewater?
I thinking out loud here,but I think this could be possible what are some thoughts on this
could this be feasible to have a series like that?So if anyone would come to Jamestown
Ky. combo please respond and ask racers who don't get on here so I can give him possible car count and names.
If I can get the info I'll see if I can get this going.

I don't think you'd get many at Kanawha Valley (now called Greg Chandler Motorsports park). It was tried there a couple years ago and I think there was only about 8-10 cars each time.

I don't even know what the new owners have planned. I think they put in a go-kart track though

I thought about it they didn't have Pro Am this year did they?I was just kinda thinking
of places that might be possible. We had one at Lake Cumberland 7-8 years ago
had about 35 cars. A.H. Atkins was there I seen you had WV location. also
had several Nashville area cars some Louisville cars also. Can make Jamestown,
(Lake Cumberland) happen IF we have enough interest.

i could make it, talk to the track owner few weaks ago about having a combo race, seemed interested
