Swingarm rear suspension for a door car.
I got a sale e-mail today from s&w race cars. The e-mail includes a listing for swing arm rear suspension for a door car. What, if any advantage does this type of system offer over conventional 4 link rear suspension. Any info greatly appreciated.

Re: Swingarm rear suspension for a door car.
The swing arm ties both lower links together as one .
You dont need a diagonal or wishbone to locate the rear. It also further inhibits chassis roll, along with an anti roll bar. The down side is that it works best on very high HP cars. Think of it ,somewhat, as an open ended ladderbar. |

I have it on a SST Vega, I love it. I did it to my car then to a couple of customers cars and everyone loved it, plus you get rid of week links...Rod ends on diag. links and wish bones.
