This is a race thats going to be RMR in late August so check it out...we had a blast at the last one in June. Check out the attached flyer for more details.

Just an FYI the race is Aug. 26-28 & will be 100% payback.
I mailed flyers out today to everyone that attended the Nitro Jam. There will be one qualifying round on Friday night then continued into Saturday. We are hoping to get in three qualifying runs on Saturday and then start eliminations around 5pm. The race will be completed Saturday night, but RMR has said they will do a bonus shoot out on Sunday for whoever wants to enter with a $50 entry fee and 100% pay back.

Where is my ole pal, Larry Rush? You get to see me twice in less than 2 months. Time to blow the dust off of that Camaro and do some burnouts!! I promise I wont miss your dinner this time, was busy singning all those autographs and taking pictures with the media, you know how it is when you race in the I.H.R.A. Enough of this , looking forward to racing with you again Larry .... August 26th- 28th All Stockers and Superstockers are welcome at the RMR combo race! Real fun, no pressure, good money, good ole racing!

Hey Wes,sorry it 's takin so long to reply with work and all. I will be there. I broke a lifter in "QUEENY" so I have got her put back together and she likes her knew parts. It'll be fun to race with the CLASS CARS at RMR again.Try to bring more of the IDAHO crew with you. See you at the end of the month. L RUSH

Just a heads up that online registration is available if you go to www.rmrracing.com, click on Race Info, IHRA Drag Strip & Online Registration. The track also indicated that the 1 free crew member has to be present with the driver when signing up to qualify.

I spoke with Ron Craft the drag strip manager and he verified that there will not be the $25 one time event IHRA membership fee for this race that the non-IHRA members had to pay at the Nitro Jam event back in June.

I am glad to report that several stock/ superstock racers have called me about coming to this race! I do believe that we will have close to 20 cars. We had 17 cars at the last one in June. If we can better the car count at this race it will put us on the schedule for more events next season. Rocky Mountain Raceway is fully behind us stock/superstock racers. This is a rare occurance now days. Lets show them how much we appreciate their support. This a very nice facility with a geat staff, so if you want to have some fun then get it on man (or woman) this is the time to do it !!!!! Aug 26 thru 28 , Salt Lake City, RMR be there!!!! Heads up for everyone coming to this race. Gates will open Friday @ 1:30 for everyone who is pre-registered & 2:30 for everyone else. Let us know if you have any questions =)
