With the sportsman race at maple-grove rescheduled to Oct 7-9 what will the allstars do.
Are any dates left at L.V.D. ?

FYI, Many that were here "stated" that "they're not coming back" next weekend!

Attention Members and interested friends of ASRA,

Your board has been actively working on this issue as it has been developing over the last day or so. Three board members were at Maple Grove. There are 19 ASRA members that are entered at this event and we need to talk to all of them as they are all important. Some are just getting back home now.

If you are one of the 19, please email or call one of the board and let us know if you are going back to Maple Grove. If you wish to reach myself, call my cell anytime 630 am thru 10 pm 413 427 5167

As I am typing this, I have received 2 calls related to this topic, we are working on it and hope to have a decision soon. Feel free to call . My guess is by Saturday we will post if it is a reschedule or not.

*If we reschedule, we have 2 chances at LV last 2 weeknds of oct
*we would hope the dutch doesn't have weather issues
*newsletter was going out, George didn't send it because of this

Re; Maple Grove/ASRA scheduling issue,

By a unanimous vote of the ASRA board, our schedule will remain unchanged for the shootout and race 6.

One or more members of the board talked with each ASRA member racer that is entered at Maple Grove.

Some info that is important.

* None of the shootout qualifiers are going back to the Grove

* Maple Grove is scheduled to be completed on saturday, so racers going back to MG can travel to Lebanon and run the last race.

Good Luck to those racers going back to the Grove, Looking forward to seeing everyone on the 8th and 9th

2 weeks ago or so they had another instance of flooding at the track,it was bad enough that they are missing 2 jersey barriers from the top end area. They are in good shape now and so are the pits.

Just an FYI for Lebanon Valley Dragway this weekend:

Saturday’s / Gates Open @ 8am / Racing Starts @ 9am:
For those not in the shootout, there's an open "test n tune" and a (N.E.N.D.R.A.)
"Northeast Nostalgia Drag Racing Association" race on Saturday October 8th as well.

On Sunday’s / Gates Open @ 8am / Time Trials For Jr's Start @ 9:30am

For any non-member with a Stock/Superstock car that wants to mix it up with us on Sunday, you CAN race with us for the "track portion" of the purse:

With this being our last scheduled race for 2011, It is my hope to see everyone that can make it up from the rescheduled Maple Grove National Event event on Sunday!
