The ASRA banquet will be held at the Westin, in Providence R.I. It will be Saturday night, Feb. 4th, 2012. They are holding rooms for us at $139.00. Mention the ASRA to get this rate.We will be sending out more imformation to all members after the Holidays. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up on this. The annual rules meeting & elections will take place earlier in the day in a meeting room TBD at the Westin.

Anyone with an interest in the ASRA can attend both the meeting and the banquet, however you must be a "dues paid member" to cast your vote.

With this being the celebration of 30 years of ASRA this years banquet should be the one to remember!

Details will be posted as we finalize our agenda!

I just got a call today from the Westin. They told me the special room rate will be good only until Jan,5th. So make sure you call and get you room reserved. Phone number for the Westin 401.598.8102

Mike, come on down, McCollum, Cote and Brown usually make the trip, it's a nice time, we actually wear suits and ties! We'll be posting the ticket order forms very soon, once we have the price and order deadline figured out.

Bring the women, Providence is a great city with a HUGE shopping mall that has a walk way right into it from the Westin. Great food, a few nice theaters and there may even be a Providence Bruins game going on, you can wear your Canadian's stuff, but it could be risky!

Thanks George, sounds great and will try my best not to miss it.
Bruins and Habs fans are the best which makes it a great rivalry...
Have eaten so much lately that my sweater doesn't fit....ya, ya I know, only an excuse.....oh well....

The board has been in touch with the Westin and they have extended the cut off date for the special room rate until Jan. 12th. They have also added more rooms for us. So get your rooms while they still have some. Happy new years from the BOD.
