Pocket Rocket Cotton Perry
 

This is Dave Blair, I work for Cotton’s Service Center in Ringgold Ga.

I work for Cotton and have heard a lot of stories about the pocket rocket. What I’m writing about is, we’re trying to find the old car he used to drive. We have bought one that we are going to make a replica of

but, would like to find the original. If anyone could help out in any way it would be greatly appreciated.

I had heard that it was the car that Danny Davis re-did and was a HotRod feature car years ago.
I sure could be wrong, but if it is ,Chad Spier would know how to find it.

I think you can find that car at Russellville Ky. Danny coffman has that car he got it in California a few years a go. It's a superstocker know. Greg drive it I think in SS/GA

Danny is a regular at the Bowling Green Stock - Super Stock combo races.

However, not too long ago, possibly here on Class Racer, someone posted a story claiming that they bought the car and took it to Canada. I'd suggest doing a search here on Class Racer using the key words Cottnon Perry and Pocket Rocket.

Good luck to you and Cotton, I'd love to see him reunited with the Pocket Rocket, and see them on the track again.

Yes I talked to the guy from Canada & he had the White Clone of the Rocket ... not the original

Did Danny Coffman get called about this lead?
Does he own the old pocket rocket?
My understanding was that the pocket rocket sedan, was on the west coast a few years back, with Ross Wilson running it. He now races a Comp. Elim. car.
I believe back in the 1990's the car would have ran SS/HA or I (maybe G or H)

This was the hearsay in the 1990s, and I looked into the numbers of Perry cars, as I owned the SS/L car that Alan Patterson bought from Cotton, around 1979. I sold that Chevy II to Dan Schlieker around 2005. Its in Clarksville Indiana.
