Sunday the 11th was the soonest and best available date. The night before is New England's "Jet Cars under the Stars" show, so that means that you will not be able to get into the track Saturday night. If you wish to go to the show, you must get to the track by 1pm in the afternoon and you will be able to enter the pits with your rig, you will pay the show price per person. and then you may watch the show and stay the night for Sundays race. They will be closing the gate at 1 Saturday afternoon and no rigs will enter the pits and there is no room for parking of rigs because of the show parking.

Please , either get there early and get in and pay or, just come in Sunday morning. The track is working with us on this rainout date, lets work with them.

Dave. New England dragway gives rain checks not money back, if you paid for Sunday and can't make the makeup date is it a free entry next year at a asra race at Ned? Or do you loose the entry money. Any way to roll the money over to L.V.D. ?

Jim, Call the track about how long the rain check is good for, I don't know, maybe they will let you use it next year. No way to switch it to LV. If you know someone who is going to NED maybe you can swap it to them for the $ ? just an idea, maybe someone who is testing there ?

To All,

Rainouts are never perfect, and this is a good example. couple of notes ,

Some of our racers are going to be on a marathon, racing weeks in a row, atco, asra,cecil, we wish this was not the case, but it is unavoidable with the rainout.

The schedule starting on labor day is just as busy, napierville or indy , englishtown,1 week off(or you could go to the hot rod reunion at NED or Charlotte Nats) and then our last events

So as you can see we have limited choices, and if we passed up a possible date and then it rained on a later date we choose , we are in tough shape at the end of the year.

Racers that wish to get out to NED Saturday the 10th are urged to use one of the options I posted or I guess the walmart lot may have a few overnight "shoppers" parked there or the rest areas will have a few rigs in them.

Jim,
The Association has nothing to do with the gate entry money, that's the tracks $$$. I don't think the rain check is good for next year, but you can ask.
