I need feedback on deciding whether you would like to have a 1 day 2 race deal or a separate race all together at Piedmont in November.

Well, since Roxboro is the race I sponsored, I would prefer keeping the race there and separated. I don't think it's right or fair combining 2 events on the same day when I sponsored a complete and separate event. Yes, I know these are tiny sponsorships, but they all should be honored separately. It wouldn't be right for either of the 2 sponsors to be piled on top of one another same day..... neither would be significant that day. Anyway, if Roxboro isn't interested any longer.....let's try another venue that we haven't been to, to show case our cars.That's my opinion, but i'll go with the majority.

Jim, you are correct and I apologize for not contacting you first with you being the race sponsor. Looking at Roxboro's schedule, the only date they are running on a Saturday or Sunday is when they are having a big bracket race in November.

I'm up for any suggestions to race at a new facility.

What about Northeast Dragway? I believe they would welcome us and if not maybe Kinston. They are draped in class racing history.

I wonder if there's any way we could have the combo Saturday night after the race in Farmington. Could be a very big turnout and it would definitely showcase us In front of our fellow racers. See y'all Saturday

Just an FYI -
While at the Greensboro Coliseum this past January for the Drag Racing Expo, I was approached by the announcer who introduced me to the track mgr. of New London Dragway in Forest, Va. They had a sincere interest in Hosting a race for the CCRA at their facility. About a 3 hr tow from Wake Forest per mapquest.Don't know anything about this track. Several Utube videos on the web though. Just a thought...

How about Dunn Benson? Looks like Nov 2 and 9 they just have test and tune.
