Hoosier D05 compound

My reservation about trying the Hoosier D05 compound is our hot Texas summers. With a 32 x 14 Hoosier the D05 is the only choice.

Hoosier does offer a 32 x 14 in a "light weight" tire and D07 compound.

My Vega is about 2500 pounds with driver, runs about 5.80 1/8 mile, aluminum head SBC, powerglide, trans brake, 5.14 gear.

What is your hot weather Hoosier experience ?
