Best solution for fogged up visor/glasses

What tricks have you guys used to help prevent fogging of the visor/glasses. I have to wear glasses, otherwise I can't see…haha. During the day it's usually fine, but if I have to make any late afternoon, early evening passes it seems like I have a lot of trouble keeping the fog down. So much to the point of having to make a run with the visor up and my glasses off. Which isn't safe as I can't see anything, and I run methanol so I would rather have the visor down to save my eyes in case of a fire. :) I wear a head sock that covers my mouth and that seemed to help a bit, but not enough.

Any info would be appreciated.

Kleer Vue is what i have used for about 10 years now works great, I usally do it every morning at the races. I got it first at the auto shows but you can buy it direct.

Carey,

The old F-1 racers used to drill some holes in the visor for ventilation, or use small pieces of tape to keep the visor up just a tad for air...The new contact lenses are pretty good even for astigmatism, and for the military grade solution, you can do the prefered method of the armed forces, Lasik. I am also sure that they make prescription visors which would solve your issue, but at a $ cost and likely effect your view(distorted)

Just grab some bar soap, smear a little on each side and buff it out. Works well and its free.

A little trick I learned from an old funny car guy, aka my dad, is duct tape across the nose to cover the opening between your mouth/nose and the visor. Works like a charm and its pretty darn cost effective.
