Transverse Torsion Bar
I want to run a Dodge Mirada is stock. I need some help on setting up the front end. These cars have the transverse torsion bars. I want the front to lift for weight transfer. Anything would help.
Thanks Cem |
Re: Transverse Torsion Bar
Assuming its an 8cyl car change to 6cyl bars and set the front end 1 inch lower than it sits now.

Re: Transverse Torsion Bar
Adjustable race shocks are a good way to control extension and compression. Unfortunately, shock selection is VERY limited for F, M & J body Mopars. Calvert does have a non-adjustable drag shock for them. Gotta watch OEM style shocks because they seem too soft on compression, at least for my preference.
I know there were a variety of torsion bar diameters for the earlier Mopars. But was there a difference between OEM Mopar /6 and V8 F, M & J body cars? |
Re: Transverse Torsion Bar
Cem,
I would entertain making a set of costom torsion bars for you. We do a lot of straight sway bars and have done gov't torsion bars. |
