I Have Bad News
 

Apparently Connie Woods has suffered a setback this week. As you probably know she underwent major brain surgery a while back and was doing extremely well. This week she started having debilitating headaches and has been admitted to the hospital up in Ohio. They are doing testing to rule out a brain bleed.

All this of course means Jim and Connie will not be at the Night of Fire race this coming weekend. Because of that we are calling off the Saturday evening BBQ. I appreciate the responses received offering grills and food and we will try and have the BBQ at West Palm baring any other set backs. J.T. Baron has offered to bring his smoker to help out and we really do appreciate that.

Any of you out there who are of the mind, please keep Connie in your prayers for a fast recovery so she can join us again as soon as possible. Jim

Update: Connie's doctors think she may have an infection. They are administering antibiotics in hope it will help. They will know by Friday if there is anything else wrong. They would obviously rather not have to operate again! Jim

Let's hope it's only an infection and treatable with medication. Best wishes for Connie and Jim.
