Attention all Division 4 Racers
 

Attention all D4 IHRA racers, and any IHRA racers that would be attending the Dallas NHRA fall nationals in October 2016. IHRA has scheduled the Tournament of Champions race on top of this event. I need everyone's help to try to get this moved to another weekend. Please email your thoughts to comments@ihra.com and/or mbaker@ihra.com. We only have two national events in division 4 and it makes no sense to have another big event the same weekend in the same divisional/geographic region.

They did the same thing this year with the Noble race. Looks like they have not learned.

You would think they would learn to wait until the NHRA scheduals were posted.

Looks like IHRA heard you all and listened. World Finals pushed back a week.

Somebody said that "put it on top the million". That's a big bracket race, right?
Sometimes it's hard to find enough weekends to go around.

Still have the Memorial day weekend with a race on top of the Memphis IHRA wild card race. Bowling Green NHRA Sports National same weekend. Might be a busy weekend for Sportsman racing. Too many races and too few weekends.

There hasn't been an official release yet, but the Memphis Pro am has been moved back a week to June 3-5.

Cool, go to Bowling Green and stop by Memphis on the way home.
Those 2 changes should help participation in Div 4 IHRA races.
