“Live “ from St Louis D3 double divisional
Well of course we are not there yet, but leaving shortly! We have been having motor home issues so I hope we make it there! We had to withdraw from the national last week but the part got here so I hope that was all it was!
Looks like they are expecting lots of racers this week! It could very well be a qualified field of 128! Anybody who is there feel free to join in and let us know what is happening! More later! Patsy |
Re: “Live “ from St Louis D3 double divisional
We got here and parked going on 8:00 PM. We have a really nice spot in the oval track in the grass but the cars will be on the pavement. Life is good. Jimmy, “The County Dog”, fed us last night with crawfish stew and it was great.
On a good note Dumbo stayed put and did not wonder around inside the trailer. Thanks again Glenn for the turnbuckle suggestion. Test and tune day for us, I have so much to learn about the new cars. One step at a time. It should be a great race week for the double points race! So if you’re sitting on the fence about racing this weekend come on out. It should be fast and the weather will chamber of commerce weather. |

Yea Pasty thats the problem ,you said FAST and loose cannons running around, can hurt peoples indexes , before the DUMB rule kicks next year, they just hurt Stock and SS racing. Good luck. Brian

Rigs just keep rolling on in!! I think they are parking until 11 tonight. We made a couple of runs today and are in line to get a final run. Weather has been beautiful all day and as the sun is going down it is cooling off a bit. I have seen cars here from every division except 6 and 7 and I think they have a race out there this weekend too!

Re: “Live “ from St Louis D3 double divisional
We have never seen St Louis with this many racers, it could be a qualified field in Stock. I hope it’s a full field and no DNQ’s. It could be a repeat of the last weeks finals with Chris and Cooter present. Test and tune for me was good. We found a few areas of improvement and got rid of a few gremlins. The track for Dumbo was good but we found out that elephants are big and strong but it’s a challenge to get them to 60 ft.
Super Street out first at 8:00 AM with the regular order to follow Sometimes your competition chooses another place to spent time and money and they sell the car that is Bullet Fast and is in the class that I like to race. Such is the case with this gorgeous ‘70 402 Nova from the Kerr team. So we are happy that it’s gone to a new owner. Long story short the gentleman racer that parked next to us yesterday lowers his tailgate and there’s that darn Nova. I’m sure glad we fixed Dumbo. |
Re: “Live “ from St Louis D3 double divisional
Alan announced this morning that there are 710 cars entered with 160 of those being Stockers! Super Street is running now! It is a cool morNot my but 82 this afternoon! Well they have called us!

Amazing turnout, time to guess what it will take, I’ll throw .77 under out there.
