Steve Krumlauf
For those who haven't heard the racing world lost another great guy Saturday when Steve Krumlauf lost his short battle. An avid stick racer, Steve was ready to get his Firebird back on the track when illness struck. Our hearts go out to his daughter Katie (an awesome racer herself) her hubby Jimbo Fields and his best friend Aaron Russell. This guy will really be missed by all that knew him. RIP Buddy

So sad to read this about Steve and the family, didn't realize he was having any problems. Truly a very good friend and a great racer for many years. R.I.P. Steve. Prayers for the family.

Re: Steve Krumlauf
Sad news for sure. I first met Steve when I bought his 67 camaro in 1990 which I still have. He really made a impression on me as one of the nicest guys you would ever meet. Sure liked stick shift modified and super stock cars. Just a great guy.

Very sorry to hear of Steve’s passing. He was truly a gentleman. I met Steve and his beautiful daughter Katie at Columbus many years ago. They could not have been nicer. My condolences to Katie and family. He will truly be missed. Bobby and Nancy Rashid.
