We alway run 7.25lbs, hot or cold. 1971 Challenger, 2640lbs w/driver, 33x16 Hoosier tires, runs 155mph.

If you can run more air, still cut a light and not spin - then your better off with more. Our car happens to like it in between 7 & 7.5.
