Default Re: T-stop question AGAIN

Electric stops work fine....I have ran the #1 stop for years trouble free (and I bought it from them used). I have several perfectly strange awards so they are consistent. Usually when someone has trouble it is because they are doing something wrong.....no alternator, low voltage, wrong wiring, etc. They do the same with air, line leaks, bottle left on, etc.

The advantage of air is being able to regulate the speed at which the stop applies and releases....that helps big HP cars from spinning when they come off the stop. I would definitely recommend a second bottle if you run air...seen too many guys scrambling becasue they had a problem and ran out of air.....that's another nice thing about the electric stop....if you run out of electrons...it doesn't matter the car isn't starting anyway.

A good setup with the right install is really the key. Follow the directions on everything, don't cut corners or outguess the directions and you shouldn't have any problems with either.

Good Luck!
