Once the records got thrashed into the low-mid 10.00's,
many guys started selling these cars off,,,,,,,,,,,for good prices too,,,
$5500 to $6500.

It was either Pro/Stock or A/MP, then,,,,,,,

They moved to 1970 Hemi Cuda's for SS/D and SS/DA.
A softer record.

A suprisingly not happy Arlon Vanke,,,,
that is his #2 car, which won the 1969 AHRA Winternationals in 'Heads Up S/S'
The first non-handicap Super/Stock Event (the inception of Pro/Stock).

Arlon had to buy that car from Wickes Auto Sales in Zainesville, Ohio,,,,,,
well above suggested retail,,,$5700
