On the back of the NHRA application for NHRA license and competition number registration under the License regulations / general paragraph 8. it states "
Class 4 license runs can be completed at an eighth mile track.For class 1,2,or 3 license runs 1,2,3,4 can be completed at an eighth mile track but runs 5 &6 must be completed at a quarter mile track.
So If your not planning on going faster than 7.50 a class 4 license will suffice and you can get those license passes done at an 1/8 mile track.
