Are you talking about the TARANTULA / TORKER series manifolds for the big block chevies. Made for both oval and rectangular port heads in the early 1970's. Carb mount was twisted around to more equalize the length of the intake port runners. Not absolutely sure but I believe this design was tried on another manufactures motor with less success.
