Years ago we actually cut one up and re-installed the top back on straight. Picked up over .20 and 2 MPH. Called Jim McFarland and told him about it. He said they knew but most of their SBF customers were not seeing the other side of 6000 RPM so they did not care.
Besides he said to me, we sell chebbie manifolds 50 to one over Fords so that is where all of our R&D resources are going.
