Borg-Warner T-10 (manual 4-speed)

Rear-end
Dana 44 (w/4.55 Gears and Posi-unit)

The 'R-3' 304/335 HP, also came equipped with factory cast iron headers (Tri-Y shaped) and large tube exhaust pipes.

A special factory prepped aluminum intake manifold, with blocked-off heat riser.

And as Blue Oval Ralph stated, ported and polished cyclinder head (ports and combustion chamber).
