Obviously making sure there is no bind in the heims at any time during travel up and down and when turning is your first priority.
I prefer to shim the rack if possible rather than use too tall a spacer on the arms.
A lot depends it the rods are on the top or bottom of the arms.
Your local Stock Car guys are a good source of heim spacers in different heights and come with a larger base and a tapered end for heim clearance.
I'd avoid going higher than 1" on a Strange strut arm , more than that and they tend to twist.
X2 on the guys in the other lane.
