Billy, this is without a doubt one of the coolest things going. It reminds me of when my friends and I would see what we could scrounge up in the way of parts to make our cars go faster on the cheap. The idea of under the record for under 5 grand is very cool. Why not keep making changes to the car and see how fast it will go? This car at a National event taking down the new factory cars would be the ultimate showdown. Good luck with this car and maybe an article done on this subject would be inspirational to many guys wanting to do this same thing.
