Jim. It is what it is. Many years ago I'm sure most of us on here used to Drag race in the street. I made a living at it for almost 2 years. And built and campained an nhra stocker with the proceeds. Didn't completely quit till Wally Parks asked (told) us to.
Back then we were stupid and could not see the possible consequenses. A year after we quit they had a race out by Kennedy airport. And a car a bit slower than what we were running, lost control and killed 2 and injured a bunch more (it could have been us).
Legal or not I have many fond memories of those days.
