BRONX AUTOMOTIVE - A LITTLE HISTORY...

Joseph Doto Started Bronx Automotive in 2000. Started as a family Auto Parts Store In NYC In 1930, Worth Auto Parts on Worth Street and Finally Moved to Cooper square. Joseph Doto Worked with his Father, Vito Doto, And Opened up Manhattan Speed Shop in the 60's, on west Broadway. We Distributed about 80% of Our parts. We delivered to Brooklyn, Upstate and New Jersey, including to shops still open today. We bought Direct and handled Lines like Mr.Gasket, Mallory, Crane, Comp Cams, Doug Headers, OK Custom Headers, Gk Cams, Moroso, Jomar, Offenhauser, etc..

Meanwhile Joe and Vito Bought A Building in The Bronx on Tiffany Street. We bought new and surplus auto parts. We Now are Direct with other Manufacturers that you see on our site today. We also Started Manhattan Speed Shop of Puerto Rico, Which if it were up to Vito, he would have lived there. We were the first to have VHT in brush on cans and Hurst 3 Speed Shifters with orange knobs. Vito also had interests in Bronx Speed shop and 2 Race tracks in Puerto Rico.

We are a family owned and operated buisness. We stock Old Car Parts, Street Rod, Hi Performance, Regular auto parts, Buick grand National parts and the list goes on. If you don't see something on our site, please email or call us. We carry more parts than shown on our site. We can Drop ship, etc.. We own two 1932 fords and a 1986 Buick grand National.
