Default Re: Original hemi dart information

For the faithfull followers an update:
I sent out ALOT of emails in the last week, with mixed results. One particular contact I've made (thanx M68) is a guy in New York, Lee Quinones, that lives very close to the old Manhatten Speed Shop building. The current buisness, Bronx Automotive is now run by Victor Doto, the son of the originating owner Joe Doto from Manhatten Speed. I have a voice mail in to Victor, just waiting on reply. Of interesting note (again thanx M68) is Nasty Nick of a couple posts back, with the yellow 68? Barracuda. Not only was he sponsored by Manhatten Speed, Lee tells me that Nick was a machinist in the back. So there is promise of him possibly working on the 68 Hemi Dart. I have an old email address to him, so that's high on the "send" list.
Mark Janaky is going a different route with some of his contacts, so, hopefully I'm going to know something either great or not so much great here in the near future.

Altho there is a visual likeness of my car in the early 80's to Jerry Nowacky's Dart from the early 70's, it's not the same car. The Nowaky Dart is confirmed to be Oldfields, & is currently residing in Mn, as per Mark Janaky. (I've gone that route a few years back)
