and yes, indeed, Sal Marino was the track photographer at Raceway Park back then. He was from Staten Island. A few years ago I tried to get the late Bob Plumer to contact him, you know, one professional photographer to another, in an attempt to get him to share his archives (if he still had his negatives and/or slides) with our Yahoo StockSSDragRacing group. I don't believe Bob Plumer was able to make any contact. I forget the name of his photography business but that's how I was able to give the info to Bob.
