Due to the lackluster performance of the 327 I decided to pull it out of the car yesterday. Just before stripping it down I did a compression test on it and found cranking psi of 100# on one side of the engine and 150# on the opposite side. It was only then that my partner volunteered the information that he had timing issues with it when it was in the street Nova...my bet is every valve in the engine is burnt lol. Amazing it could muster a 7.43 in it's condition...I'm guessing a solid 6.90 pass or better once it is sealed properly.
