A question for anyone who might know -
I have asked this question on some Mustang forums with no replies to date. When I removed the luggage rack and spoiler from the donor trunk lid I ran into a problem. The spoiler was attached to the lid with a screw at each end...no problem. The third brake light housing was attached to the lid with two long screws...problem is the spoiler sits on top of the housing preventing access to the screws. With the spoiler loose on both ends I pried some to try and separate the two pieces to no avail...finally just took a die grinder under the trunk lid and cut off the protruding screws to release it. I will need to figure out how this works in order to put all the pieces back on the newly painted lid. Maybe some adhesive was used between the bottom of the spoiler and top of the brake housing? Just looking for advice before I get heavy handed and break something.
