Have you or anybody heard of people getting hassled on there intake tubes. most cold air kits draw air from the same place as the stock air box, from inside the right front fender. You can lose about 12lbs on your steering wheel for very little money by a grant steering wheel and adapter kit, I think I was only into mine about $60. Love the thread.

I was concerned about using non-stock ducting...using the factory pieces I suppose it is a cold air set-up of sorts.
If I do anything at all with the steering wheel it will be removable like the one in the Camaro...sure eases entry.
