The C5 was used between 1982 and 1986 at which time it was replaced by the AOD. Casting numbers are E2, E3, E4, E5, and E6 designating the year of manufacture.

1983–1986 Ford LTD
1982–1986 Ford Thunderbird
1982–1986 Mercury Capri
1982–1986 Mercury Cougar

Now, back to those flexplates...whats the difference and which do I need?
