There's no such thing as a "dead heat" and adding the word "statistical" doesn't do anything to change the fact.

Comp-U-Link timing systems record, (internally), to the millionth of a second, (0.000000). The Comp-U-Link timeslip displays to the ten-thousandth of a second, (0.0000). Therefore, any "win margin" displayed as 0.000 can be as large 0.00009.

In the first example, that would be two-tenths of an inch, (0.20091 inches).

In the second example, that would be slightly less than two-tenths of an inch, (0.19987 inches).
