During the course of this build a number of folks have complemented me on doing a neat, quality job. I appreciate those complements and I do strive to perform in that way.
However, I am at heart an East Texas blue collar mechanic and every now and then I must embrace that heritage.
Case in point, with the removal of the factory seats and installing of aluminum race seats I was careful to duplicate the factory seating position because it fit me just right. Once installed, the seating felt good and steering wheel spacing was good. Yet, the gas pedal feel was not just right.
Some work with a table saw and belt sander cured the pedal issue
