It's nice to finally be back to doing some mechanical work.
After taking care of a few details like a timing pointer:
And a pulley for the water pump, which had to be cut down for clearance:
I always fabricate a jumper to the solenoid and run a Ford-type solenoid on the inner fender. I hate the idea of having a cable with live 12 volts next to a hot header:
