Default Re: Original hemi dart information

Great photos, Charlie- always so fun to see! Daryl's Dart is set up so well, has that perfect, clean look and such a mean stance. Makes me really think about "streeting" mine.

So, Tim Banning (FHO) says I CAN use motor mounts if I want, but in his experience people find it easier to use a front engine plate due to ease of installation, strengthening the front end, more clearance for oil pump, and easy mounting of water pump, air pump, etc. Also said that it would be easier to move the engine slightly forward if need be, since I will be using a Mopar cross ram, and clearance will be tight. Not sure which way I should go.

If people reading here have a A-body hemi, and wouldn't mind posting photos of how their engine is set up in the engine bay (or have any advice), I would certainly appreciate the help!
