I'm all for clean and shiny cars ,but over the Winter a lot of racers forget about one of the most important things ,other than a win light , Brakes !
Take some time to inspect the hoses. ... if they are more than five years old replace them ,they are cheap insurance.
Flush out the old brake fluid and replace it with quality racing brake fluid like Wilwood's 570 Plus ,or other high quality DOT 4 fluid.
Brake fluid is hygroscopic ,it absorbs moisture and over time becomes corrosive to your steel and aluminum brake components .
We all want to keep the shiny side up !
